Feather River Academy has recieved the Design Share Honor Award. This is the first award for Feather River Academy and A4E would like to thank the design and construction teams, the students who took part in the design process and the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools. The district’s commitment to its students was the driving force behind our work.
Herget Middle School has won the Design Share Merit Award, also its first award. A4E was pleased to work with Cordogan & Clark, our design team partners, and gives special recognition to former superintendent Sherry Eagle.
Position Description & Responsibilities:
As an intermediate architect you will produce schematic design, design development and construction documents under direct supervision of the Project Architect within a team environment. You will prepare design drawings, sketches and models, as appropriate, researching code, accessibility and other regulatory requirements for the project. You will assist/lead design team coordination as well as assist during the construction phase by researching technical or contract document questions, responding to RFI’s and the processing of Shop Drawings
Qualifications:
3 to 6 years of architectural experience
A Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree from a leading architecture program.
Recently licensed or a goal to become licensed.
Experience on public projects located within California
Experience in higher education and K-12 projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop,
Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe Creative Suite2.
A good understanding of design and construction documents.
Knowledge of different construction types and building systems
Good written and oral communication skills
Accuracy and speed are essential qualities.

A4E is wrapping up a busy summer:
Rubidoux High School is going out to bid. The Carolyn Wiley Child Development Center and King Estates Middle School are both in construction. Designs for SLZUSD Measure E, Jurupa K-8 and the FlaBob Airport are in progress.
However, we can relax to “Ladies Sing the Blues” every friday night at One Colorado, Old Town Pasadena
